Whether the 10 Mile course is your final destination, or if it is a stepping stone to an upcoming half marathon, the 10 Mile route at this year’s April 21 Capital City Classic will be a highlight of your 2013 racing season.

The 10 Mile Route is nearly entirely all along the Sacramento River, providing ample shots along the way of our Capitol State’s longest river. Included are portions through treesy Yolo County Park as well as the chance to cross both the Tower Bridge and I Street bridge… all in one morning.

Perhaps best of all are the finisher’s medals for the event. Stained glass medals will await you when you cross the finish line. For those in the 5K/10K distance, you can add-on a stained glass participation medal to your entry for $5.

And last but certainly not least, our 2.62 Mile Mini Marathon is a FREE event for all kids who are under age 14 and pre-register. FREE. So grab your schoolmates, friends, neighbors, scout/pack-mates and everyone else in-between and come on out for this year’s Capital City Classic in Downtown Sacramento on April 21. Read more here.
