2016 Davis Turkey Trot Registration

Standard Entry Includes:

Long sleeve t-shirt, commemorative bib number, chip timing (5K, 10K & Half), finisher’s ribbon (Kid’s Runs only), finisher’s medal (included for Half Marathon) eligibility for awards (5K/10K/Half) and post-race refreshments.

    • Shirt size and availability are guaranteed for all entries received by 11:59 PM on Monday, November 14th. After this date, shirt size/availability is first come first serve upon bib pick up/check in.
    • All entrants submitted November 15th or later should go Will Call (not pre-registration) to pick up bib/shirt.

Late In-Person Registration will be available at Packet Pick Up and on Race Day as follows:

2016 Entry Fees:

5K or 10K

  • A processing fee will be applied in addition to all below entry fees.
  • $32.00 on or before September 16, 2016
  • $34.00 September 17 to October 21
  • $37.00 October 22 – November 17
  • $40.00 November 18 at Packet Pick Up
  • $42.00 November 19 (Race Day)

Half Marathon

  • A processing fee will be applied in addition to all below entry fees.
  • $56.00 on or before September 16, 2016
  • $60.00 September 17 to October 21
  • $66.00 October 22 to  November 17
  • $70.00 November 18 at Packet Pick Up
  • $74.00 November 19 (Race Day)

Kids Fun Runs – Ages 12 and Younger

  • Distances are: 1 Mile, Half Mile, Quarter Mile and 200 Yard Toddler Trot (Ages 4 and Under only)
  • A processing fee will be applied in addition to all below entry fees.
  • $10.00 on our before September 16, 2016
  • $12.00 September 17 – October 21
  • $14.00 October 22 – November 17
  • $16.00 November 18 at Packet Pick Up
  • $16.00 November 19 (Race Day)

Optional Participation Medal

We are offering an optional participation medal for $5.00. Racers in any division may purchase the medal. Pre-race sales of the optional participation medal are available through November 7, 2016. A limited number may be available for purchase after this date. The Participation Medal is a different medal than the Half Marathon finishers medal, so if you are planning on participating in the half marathon, and order this medal, you will receive two (different) medals at the race. See below. No refunds for optional medal purchases.

Medals, like t-shirts, will be not be held for no shows.

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST before purchasing:

  • Half Marathon participants will receive a  finisher’s medal with their entry fee. To clarify, if you finish the half marathon AND purchase this medal, you’ll receive two (different) medals.
  • 5K/10K Entry does not include a medal. If you’d like a medal, please use this option.
  • Kids Fun Run entrants will receive a ribbon. If you’d like a medal for your child, please use this option
  • The Half Marathon finisher’s medal and the participation medal will be different.
  • Medals which are not picked up on race day will not be mailed.
  • Medal purchases are non refundable.

Field Limits

Field Limits are established to keep the race fun and safe for everyone. They are as follows:

  • Half Marathon: 800
  • 5K: 2,500
  • 10K: 2,500
  • Kids Fun Runs: 800

If field limits are reached, the distance will be sold out and no waiting list will be held. Please register early to save a few dollars and ensure yourself a spot.

Half Marathon

Custom finisher medals will be awarded to all athletes who complete the event on race day within the designated timeframe. Half Marathon finisher medals are not available to those who do not attend the event.

Half Marathon Relay

There will not be a relay division for the half marathon in 2016.

Virtual Participation/Division

We do not have a virtual division or participation category.

Refund Policy, Transfers, Race Rules

Weather: This event happens rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel the event if there is an unforseen act of God which would render producing the event unsafe for our athletes, volunteers, staff or community.

Refund/cancellation & Entry Rules: All entries are non-refundable and are not transferable to another event. No refunds under any circumstances. No refunds or application of the of the “difference” towards other purchases or items, if you drop down from Half Marathon to 5K/10K.

Transferring Your Entry To A Friend/Family Member: If you wish to transfer your entry to a friend or family member in the case that you become injured or cannot otherwise attend, you may do so on or before 5:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2016. There is no fee to transfer to a friend/family member but your request must be completed online through your runsignup account; or if you are unable to achieve it via the online system, your request must be made in writing via email to by 5PM on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. Doing so via your runsignup account will send an email to your friend, who may then accept the transfer request and provide their information, shirt size and agree to the liability waiver. No phone, fax or in person requests for entry transfers.  The person to whom you are transferring your entry must complete the request on or before Monday, November 14 at Noon.

Changing Your Race Division: We will accommodate changes to your race division if they are made in advance of race weekend. That is, if you enter the 10K and wish to switch to the 5K, we can make this adjustment. You can do so within your runsignup account any time prior to 5:00 PM on Monday, November 14, 2016. If you are unable to do so online, please email us by 11/14/16 and we will make the change for you.

We kindly ask that all division changes are made in advance. Division changes that are made on race day slow down the results process and also can result in inaccurate race results category/overall placements for you and the entire rest of the event, until your division is able to be switched. Therefore, we are asking that all division changes are made in advance of race weekend.

Participating in the division for which you are not registered: is strictly not allowed. Entrants who run or walk a division for which they are not registered will be disqualified, will not receive a finish time and will be ineligible for awards.  To clarify, if a participant is registered for the 10K and completes the 5K instead, they will be disqualified as outlined above.

Race Communication: All race communication is done via e-mail so please include an email that you check on your entry. Emails are not sold or traded.
