Add a twist to your Thanksgiving tradition by participating in the Scheels Turkey Trot run/walk event. It’s a great way to get some exercise while giving back to the community. Whether you’re an avid runner coming out for the 10K or simply looking to take a two mile untimed walk or run around the Sparks Marina, the Scheels Turkey Trot is also a fun kick off to the holiday season.

The Thanksgiving Day event starts at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Scheels. Participants can choose to do either the 10K run or the two mile untimed walk or run around the Sparks Marina. The 10K, which equates to a little more than six miles, uses city streets, as well as the local bike path.

For the safety of the runners and furry family members, pets are not allowed at this event.
