MissFITAwesome Boot Camp experience!  Underneath all my moans and groans, I really enjoyed the class and got so much out of it.  I not only feel stronger and leaner but also more physically confident; you both taught me how to properly do a lot of the exercises and provided variety of ways to work on the same muscle groups.  Unfortunately, the aches and pains didn't lessen, but I was aching for the right reasons. 

Before joining the camp, I just couldn't find the "right" time to start any exercise program, and I was giving myself kudos for just having the "intention" to start.  I'm so glad that I did it.  Though after I crawled to my car after the first class (actually...after every class), I had misgivings.  I would have registered for Session II, but I just couldn't fit it with my current personal commitments.

”…. I don't think I would want to participate if it was any less strenuous. I mean, you could make it less tough, but I don't think that you could call it "boot camp" if it was any easier.  It would just be an aerobics class. People don't sign up for something called "boot camp" unless they want to sweat and experience some pain." 

 

I’d like to thank you both for the renewed sense of pain I feel today.  Yes, it hurts (nothing a good martini can’t fix).  But it’s such a relief to know I’m pushing out of the routine.  My quads, glutes and calfs are singing your praises.
