We hope you enjoyed the 2nd Annual Oktobrewfest 5K on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Sudwerk Restaurant and Brewery in Davis, CA.

This event is all about FUN. It starts off with the Kid's Root Beer Runs at 5:15 (Half and Quarter Mile Distances) and then the 5K (3.1 Mile) Run or Walk at 6:00 PM. This year's course is NEW with a start line right on Second Street in front of Sudwerk Restaurant and Brewery. Runners and walkers will loop 3.1 miles around Davis and finish right in front of the restaurant. There, they'll be greeted with a one-of-a-kind finisher's medal that is both a medal and a bottle opener.* Take it off the chain later and you'll have a keychain. The party doesn't stop there, though.Each participant receives a souvenir cup with the first cold beverage courtesy of Sudwerk. Choose from four microbrews or soda (kid's fun runners receive a root beer float).Appetizers and Oktoberfest-themed food will be available for purchase to enjoy while you listen to the live band, peruse the vendor booths or engage in some of our fun games like yodeling or bratwurst-eating.
