Ann Murray Paige, Founder of Project Pink, Speaking Engagement
Davis resident Ann Murray-Paige founded Project Pink when she was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly a decade ago. In that time, she co-created & produced the highly acclaimed documentary, “The Breast Cancer Diaries” along with two books, “Words to Live By” and “Pink Tips”. All three serve to provide hope and understanding to young women with breast cancer.
In conjunction with the run, we are excited and honored to host a special Ann Murray Paige speaking engagement at the Hallmark Inn (110 F Street). Here, from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, she will talk about her personal journey, staying positive as she continues to be a cancer warrior, and what nutrition and exercise has done to keep her going. After the talk, she will be on hand to sign copies of her book, “Pink Tips.”
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the following divisions: 9 and Under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, …, 60-69, 70+.
The course starts and finishes at Putah Creek Winery, winding through South Davis neighborhoods and bike paths. View the map below or download a copy here.
