1️⃣ Month ’til the Trot: Medal Preview

Your First Look At The Finisher Medal:

We know there is a lot of anticipation and excitement around the finisher medals, so with just one month remaining until this year’s November 23rd Davis Turkey Trot, we thought today would be the perfect time to reveal this year’s design!

Haven’t signed up yet? Race day is Saturday, November 23 – Just one month away. Choose from one of eight distances spanning from One Mile to a Half Marathon – or participate virtually.
–> Submit your entry here.
–> Next fee increase is November 6.

See-Thru Stained Glass Effect on Finisher Medals

We wanted this year’s medal to be particularly unique, so we decided to create a design that has cut-outs for the running turkey. The enamel used in these sections is translucent and will create a stained glass look.

All finishers in every distance will receive this medal (half marathoners will receive a medal with a distinctive half marathon ribbon).

We can’t wait to see how these look in all your glorious post-race photos!

For Those With Pups:

Our optional merchandise this year includes the ‘Barktastic Treat Bag‘ which is designed for anyone who is running or walking with their dog, or, who has a dog that might be staying at home (we understand not all dogs mesh with crowds and other dogs) but for whom you’d like to get their own finisher medal and swag!

The Barktastic Treat Bag is $13.72 (with a portion of the net proceeds going to the Yolo SPCA) and includes a dog-sized medal (see image), a Davis Turkey Trot bandanna, and treats.

If you’ve already registered but want to add one to your entry, we suggest pre-ordering (you can do so online within your account) as we have a limited number and can’t guarantee availability on the day of the event.

Additional extra merchandise availability includes two styles of embroidered Davis Turkey Trot running hats or a cotton long sleeve t-shirt.

(**2M/5K/10K/Half entry includes a technical long sleeved t-shirt).
