It's almost time to fluff your feathers
We know, we know – you are eagerly awaiting this year’s Davis Turkey Trot. The good news is, there are only thirty days until race day!
And, if November is sneaking up on you – no problem – you still have thirty! whole! days! left to get some training in before the big day!
Register by Friday, October 24th before prices go 🆙
The first step in a successful Trot is pre-registering. This means you get to select exactly the shirt size and type you would like to have, you save some $$, and you now have a goal in sight: November 22nd.
And truly, the registration process takes less than five minutes, unless you take snack breaks, which we 100% support.
Entry fees will increase after 11:59 pm this Friday, October 24th.
Next Step: Training
Whether you prefer a morning, midday, or an evening run or walk, Fall brings us Northern Californians some of the best weather for heading outdoors.
Now that you have signed up for the Davis Turkey Trot, you have a goal distance and date to train toward.
Better yet, head out and train with a friend, coworker, partner, neighbor, or family member!
And that’s it! You’ll be ready to run or walk the Davis Turkey Trot!
Aside from a fun, community-oriented activity that you can do with either your friends and family, or by yourself, the Davis Turkey Trot supports several local nonprofits, youth sports teams, and charitable groups. Our two main beneficiaries are the Yolo County SPCAand Cancer Champions. Both of these nonprofits use funding from the race for programs that help serve members of the community.
