New for 2021: elite athlete prize purse.

Starting and finishing in the pristine El Dorado Hills Town Center (Town Center), The Gold Country 5K presented by Marshall Medical Center will showcase what makes El Dorado Hills “one of America’s best places to live” according to CNN: beautiful views of the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Nevadas, interesting landscapes, vibrant shopping and dining, and an active and healthy community nestled in the heart of historic Gold Country.

The race will be a premier running event managed by GCR+S Events  and it features a flat and fast two loop course in Town Center making it a great event for participants and spectators alike!  This 5K only event will be followed by a Finisher Fitness Festival presented by Marshall Medical Center and our other important sponsors.

In partnership with HOKA One One, we are excited to be providing the following prize money for overall men and women’s winners!

• First place – $250 + free pair of HOKA One One shoes
• Second place – $100
• Third place – $50
