The Pumpkin Run has been a traditional part of the Pumpkin Festival for many years. The Run events will take you on the Coastal Trail, on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The Pumpkin Power 5K Obstacle Challenge will add obstacle stations and activities along the trail. And, the 10K returns with the opening of the new bridge on the trail. Both the 5k and 10k are sanctioned runs. The Kid’s Fun Run is about 1/4 mile long and every child gets a goodie bag. All participants will have access to a light breakfast, a tshirt and pumpkin.

The Run takes place about 3 blocks from the Pumpkin Festival and we are sure you will want to visit it when you are done with the Run. The Festival boasts over 300 artisans and amazing food and music.

Event details and schedule

The Run takes place at Hatch Elementary School parking lot. There is not parking at the school so you will need to find parking in the neighborhood. Registration will start at 7am and the first event, the Kid’s Fun Run will start at 8am.
