14th Annual Run and Walk Against Hunger
Thanksgiving morning, November 22, 2018
Be part of the 14th Annual Stockton Thanksgiving morning tradition to help raise hunger awareness and funds for the Emergency Food Bank … an organization that provides food assistance and programs to the working poor in San Joaquin County.
Race Day Schedule
Race Day Registration • 6:30 a.m. – 8:25 a.m.
Kids 1/4 Mile Run • 8:00 a.m.
Opening Ceremony • 8:20 a.m.
5K Run/Walk & 10K Run • 8:30 a.m.
Course
The scenic, flat and fast 5k run/walk and 10k run begins and ends at the Stockton Ports Banner Island Ballpark ( 404 W. Fremont in Downtown Stockton, California. The course proceeds along both sides of the Stockton Deep water Channel past the Weber Point Event Center, returning and finishing back at the Ballpark. Walkers have their own scenic waterfront course along the promenade.
Awards
Results will be posted on www.onyourmarkevents.com shortly after the race. Winners can pick up their awards at Fleet Feet Stockton on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Awards will be for the timed 5K and 10K runs, for the top three places in each age group (12 and under, 13 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 and over, male and female). Overall M/F 10K winners receive Brooks jackets Compliments of Fleet Feet Stockton. All Kids Run participants (9 and under) will receive ribbons at the event.
For safety, No bicycles, skateboards, or roller blades on the course, please. ALL dogs must be on a leash. Strollers for kids and wheelchairs are WELCOME, but please line up behind all runners!
