| Experience the season with sparkle and shine at the inaugural IllumiNATION Holiday Festival, a new multicultural family celebration at District56. Elf yourself and join a holiday fun run or enter the beloved Holiday of Lights Parade at its new location.
Bring your family and friends to the City’s first official tree lighting and shop amongst the holiday peddlers and get into the holiday spirit! Running of the Elves is a 5K (3.1 mile) run or walk. Proceeds will benefit the Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation. |

On Saturday, December 7:
Entry to Running of the Elves includes a Finisher’s Medal which doubles as an ornament. An optional technical long-sleeve t-shirt (both men’s and women’s cuts) is available for $8, which you can add on when you register. |

Entry Fees:
- $30.00 by November 9
- $35.00 Nov. 10- Nov. 30
- $40.00 Dec. 1-Dec. 7
- Youth under 18 save $10
Long sleeve t-shirts, available in both a men’s and a women’s cut, are available for an additional $8.00.
Bib/T-shirt Pick Up:
- Bibs and t-shirts may be picked up race afternoon starting at 3:30 pm near the start/finish line.
- New entries will also be accepted at this time (cash, check, plastic).
The 5K Run or Walk will start at 4:30 p.m.
- There will be one water stop about midway through the course.
- Strollers are allowed.
- Leased, well-behaved dogs who are used to being around crowds and other dogs are welcome.
- Strollers and dogs should start towards the back.
This event will be chip timed.
