Come out and start your thanksgiving day with the whole family, running or walking our trail 5k or 10k course. Hot chocolate and warm tamales will keep you warm while watching the little ones run our free 1k race.This is a challenging turkey trot that runs completely on trails, singletrack and some fire-roads. Both events are open to runners and walkers alike, families are welcome but know that strollers are not recommended as some sections of the trails are really narrow.

FREE non-timed 1k dash run for 6 y/o children and under will start at 10:30am. Kids will receive a bib to wear during their run.

Main event, 5K and 10K starts at 9:00am. Bib pick up will begin at 8:00am

Beneficiary

Once again our beneficiary for this year’s event will be Placer High cross country team. Last year we were able to raise over $2,000 that went towards new uniforms for this 2017 season.

Every year the Placer High Cross country team continues to grow rapidly with upwards of over 55 runners and they are in need of new uniforms and other needs to help them achieve their best level of running.
