2024 Davis Moonlight Run
This past Saturday, the weather temporarily cooled off and a breeze rolled into town just in time for the 12th Annual Davis Moonlight Run. This year’s event had about 1,400 participants across four events (2K, 5K, 10K, and 10 Mile).
Inaugural Cancer Champions Walk Run Roll event
Speaking of Cancer Champions, they will be hosting their first-ever running/walking event on Saturday, September 14th at the Riverwalk in West Sacramento!
Everyone has been touched by cancer, whether through a friend, family member, coworker, or as a patient themselves. This upcoming event is an ideal opportunity for:
-> Run, walk, or roll* in honor of a friend or family member who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis.
— * One Mile is wheelchair friendly
— 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile distances
— Cancer survivor division offered
-> Fundraise to amplify your impact on the local cancer community.
-> Participate virtually if you cannot make in-person
Money raised at this event will help cancer patients in Northern California directly, in the form of need-based grants to facilitate their participation in a Cancer Champions program.
Register Today for the Cancer Champions 5K, 10K, or One Mile!
✏️ Early-bird entry fees are available through 11:59 pm this Friday, July 19. Discounts are available for youth. Sign up here!
Davis Labor Day Run

- 5K, 10K, 1 Mile, & Kids Run
- Post-race pancakes
- Unique special divisions for the 5K & 10K including Sacramento, Yolo, and Solano County residents
Volunteer at the Labor Day Run...
and race the Davis Turkey Trot for Free!
Davis Turkey Trot registration will be launching on August 5th. Race day this year will be Saturday, November 23 (the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving) and this year’s distances will be: 2 Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.
We want to ensure that all people who want to run or walk road races have the opportunity to do so, and that is part of the reason why we offer a “race voucher” program at some of our events. We also like to encourage volunteerism and giving back to the running/walking community.
Our Davis Labor Day Run will be the last race of 2024 at which you can volunteer and earn a voucher to participate in the next event for free; in this case, the 36th Annual Davis Turkey Trot.
