Last Call: It’s the Final Day to Enjoy Discounts on the Trot!

Today's the Last Day of the Registration Launch Discount

Today, Sunday, August 18th, is the final day of our week-long registration launch discount promotion. Whether you’re eyeing our Half Marathon, planning on the 5K or 10K with the fam, looking forward to walking with your pup in the 2 Mile, or a jog with your kids in our new timed One Mile, today’s the last day of the promotion.

Prices will continue to increase every couple of weeks until race day (November 23).

On average (it depends on your race distance), fees are about 35% lower now, than if you wait to sign up in November.

So why wait? Register online here.

Turkey & Thanksgiving Themed Outfits are Welcome

To say we’re excited for November would be an understatement, but we’re trying to keep our cool (get it?) until at least October. The Davis Turkey Trot is our signature event, was our organization’s very first event in 1988, and is also our largest event, so it makes sense that it is the highlight of our year. It’s also our season closer.

The 2024 Davis Turkey Trot will be held on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving, which is November 23rd

Last Chance: Do you want to Run the Turkey Trot for Free?

That’s not a typo! We have 8 remaining spots for people interested in volunteering at our Davis Labor Day Race (Monday, September 2) after which you will be provided with a race voucher for a free entry to the Davis Turkey Trot.  We need 5 people to help with race day registration and 3 more folks to help with awards. This is our final voucher opportunity for the year.

Interested? Sign Up / Read More HERE.

Now as an adult, she has returned (by her own choice) and now serves as the volunteer and site coordinator. In addition, she has also been instrumental in the 2024 design and transitioning of our new website. We are fortunate to have her tackle one of the more critical areas that are considered the backbone of any event, volunteers. Maya resides in Davis and In her spare time she spends time as a dog trainer while simultaneously assisting other local nonprofit organizations such as the Yolo County SPCA and Cancer Champions.
