Running / walking means something different to us all; maybe it is a casual hobby, a way to hang out with friends and family, a pursuit of a specific goal, part of an effort to live healthfully, or just something you enjoy. Regardless, we are appreciative that you choose to participate in A Change of Pace events and support our partners and charities.
We have several exciting new happenings in the near future. Below is an overview. Click the links or images below for more information.
Half Life documentary
May 10
Half Life, a documentary produced by filmmaker Kaare Iverson, follows Kirk Keeler’s mission to climb Yosemite’s Half Dome to promote earlier colorectal cancer screenings. Kirk was diagnosed with colon cancer in late 2021, and his physician recommended joining Cancer Champions to help him through his treatments.
A Change of Pace had the honor of joining Kirk and Cancer Champions in Yosemite and assisted with equipment and hike support. Half Life follows Kirk as he takes his tragic diagnosis and spins it into inspiration, positivity and action that hopes to save lives. Watch the premiere with us on May 10th in Sacramento!
